The custom 3D pet pendant is a hand-sculpted miniature of your pet’s actual face — eyes, nose, ears, markings — cast into metal and worn as a pendant on a 16″ + 2″ extension chain.
The process:
- You upload a clear front-facing photo of your pet during checkout
- Our sculptor creates a digital model from the photo (typically 2-3 days)
- The model is 3D-printed in wax, then cast in sterling silver or gold plating
- The pendant is polished, the chain attached, and the piece is hand-finished
- Total: 10-15 days production + 6-12 days shipping
The result is a pendant that, when you hold it, looks like your pet. Not stylized. Not implied. The actual face.
Why It Works as a Memorial
Three reasons, in order of what families tell us:
1. It’s private. Unlike a framed portrait or a wall display, the pendant is something you can wear and choose when to show. For people who aren’t ready to talk about their loss at the office, but still want the comfort of having their pet close, this is the only form of memorial that travels with you invisibly.

The Photo That Gives the Best Result
Use a clear, well-lit front-facing photo where your pet’s features are visible:
- ✅ Eye-level, soft natural light, plain background
- ✅ Both eyes open, ears up (for dogs), whiskers visible (for cats)
- ✅ Markings and color patches clearly defined
- ❌ Avoid blurry, dark, side-angle, or action shots
If you only have imperfect photos, send them anyway — our sculptor can work from multiple references and ask for clarification. We don’t proceed until you approve the digital model.
Common Questions
How is this different from a photo pendant? Photo pendants use a 2D image printed under glass or resin. The 3D pendant is a hand-sculpted miniature of your pet’s face in three dimensions. Touch it and you can feel the nose, the brow, the ears.
Can I order this for a pet that has already passed? Yes. Most of our memorial pendant orders are for pets that have passed. Use any clear photo you have — we work from what you have.
Can I get multiple pets on one pendant? Not on a single pendant — the size gets too small to read the features. We recommend ordering two pendants on one chain (one front, one back) or a double-sided pendant (coming soon).
What if I’m not happy with the result? We provide a digital proof before casting begins. If the proof doesn’t look like your pet, we’ll redo it free. If you’re still not satisfied after the final piece, we offer a full refund within 7 days of delivery.

Care Instructions
The pendant is solid sterling silver (or gold plated) — it will tarnish slowly over years if you don’t wear it. To keep it bright, wipe with the included polishing cloth once a month. Avoid wearing in chlorinated pools or hot tubs (the chlorine will damage the finish). For storage, keep it in the small velvet pouch we ship it in, away from humidity. If you wear it every day, the natural oils from your skin will keep it polished — most of our customers report their pendant looks better at 6 months than at 1 week.
